Lasting Power of Attorney for the Women's Institute
The Women's Institute have launched a campaign after the Prime Minister set out his challenge on Dementia in March 2012. They have created the Dementia Friendly Communities to help make our communities more dementia friendly. The aim of the Prime Ministers challenge is to make 20 cities, towns and villages dementia friendly.
What is a Dementia Friendly Community?
The Women's Institute Dementia Friendly Communities are ones where dementia is understood, recognised and accommodated in everyday life, giving people with dementia as much independence and dignity as possible whilst supporting them and their carers.
How can The Will Associates help?
At The Will Associates we can provide The Women's Institute with legal documents known as Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs). There are two types of LPA:
A "Property and Financial Affairs" LPA gives your Attorney the authority to deal with buying and selling your property, your bills, bank accounts and investments.
A "Health and Welfare" LPA covers decisions about health and care and even deciding where someone is to live. This can only be used if someone is incapable of dealing with such matters themselves.
Our trained consultants can discuss your current circumstances and recommend the products that will provide the correct protection for you, your family and your assets.
For peace of mind contact The Will Associates today on 0800 9500 700 to arrange a free, no obligation appointment with one of our trained consultants, at a time convenient to you and your family in the comfort of your own home.
